Future Quest is embedded at SGS College and City of Bristol College. These HEIs are part of our Uni Connect partnership. Future Quest college staff deliver a range of outreach sessions to students to help support them to plan to achieve their future goals. We work alongside students to explore their strengths and help them envisage their future, informing them of different career pathways which are available to them and what they need to do to follow these pathways and achieve their goals. We explore different universities and the courses they offer and also find out about alternative pathways to university such as Higher Level and Degree Apprenticeships.  

We provide sessions on student finance and budgeting, to help students understand how they might manage their finances if they go to university, whether they choose to stay at home or move away to study. Our budgeting sessions also help students learn how to manage their finances if they choose to go into employment straight after college or do an apprenticeship. We offer information and guidance on how to apply for university courses, including help with writing a personal statement for UCAS, and how to apply for student finance.  

To help students reach their full potential, we also provide sessions on study skills and how to build confidence and resilience to fully equip our students with the resources they need, whatever they choose to do in the future.
